If I should have a daughter....
I’ve been working on a poem to my unborn daughter because I look forward to becoming a mother one day and I’m excited to raise a well-rounded, intelligent bunch of babies :) Here’s a little taste of it…feel free to comment.
If I should have a daughter, I would show her that the world is her Oyster.

Senseless Violence
In the morning on July 4, 2009 , my cousin Daron Snowden was shot multiple times in the neck, head, and shoulder and then passed away later that day. It pains my heart to know that my younger cousins witness situations like this and one day, I will give birth and raise a child in this world full of hate, violence, and murder.
